Jessie's Recipe of the Week: Plant-based Oatmilk Plantain Brownies

That’s right! This week, Jessie is bringing to you a classic brownie recipe that’s sure to be a staple when it comes to sweet treats. We know that brownies may not be the healthiest (despite tasting amazing) but thanks to Kelewele's plantain brownie mix, brownies can become a guilt-free snack! Not only that, this recipe is also plant-based and oatmilk-friendly. Not to mention it being incredibly easy as it take only under an hour to make, making it perfect for a sweet treat anytime in the day!

What you'll need:
Equipment
- Whisk
- Mixing bowl
- Baking pan
- Wire rack
Ingredients
- Kelewele vegan plantain brownie mix
- ¼ sachet of Upright instant oatmilk, original
- ¼ cup of water for oatmilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 vegan eggs
- 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed
- 6 tablespoons of water
Instructions:

Add water to Upright instant powdered oatmilk to create oatmilk

Mix together eggs, ground flaxseed, and water

Mix all wet ingredients (egg mixture, oatmilk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract) together

Add dry ingredients to mixture of wet ingredients to create batter

Grease baking pan and pour in batter

Bake at 350F for 24 minutes

Let cool on wire rack before serving
